Dominic and I went up to Loch Lomond late morning, and fished for about 1 1/2 hrs (maybe a little less..). Brought motor and battery, or course. I rigged him up first and we started out (gotta remember to do the rigging the night before, as it takes me so much time on the water). Within 5 minutes of trolling he had a trout on, which dropped off right before the net got under it. A little later (still before I was done with my rod) he got another, which got eaten that evening (yum, but Dominic didn't like it.. next time with breadcrumbs, perhaps?)
Happy kid and successful trip :) He is game to go again, now. I didn't get any, but I don't mind at all. Weather started cloudy with little wind, then the fog burned off and it got warm without the wind picking up too much.
We got off and played on the island for a little bit, too.
