Went down to Manresa beach this morning, after a lousy night of got.net pager waking me up. Time to go fishing anyway. I failed to hook up with Deva yesterday, as it was raining and I stayed home and he went anyway, and we didn't have a way worked out to communicate all this at the time. That problem has been fixed, I think. I mean, some things are important, you know.
So I got down there around 8:30, nice and sunny but with some cloudiness.
I caught 3 fish. A nice morning to be out. Talked to Deva from the beach, on the cellphone, then another call comes in and its the new work answering service, and I have to arrange for a problem to be handled via one of the other guys. Sucks. While I'm on the phone, the line was out and I'm SLOWLY retrieving the line with my left hand. I have a nibble, it feels small, and drops off by itself.
