Manresa again.. socked in fog. Love'it. Back to the #9 XP and fished 'north' as mostly usual. I had 2 GOOD grabs, that both came off. At the socond one I swore. Lazy me needs to tie more flies, so I have fresh, sharp hooks, and not used dull ones. So it goes. I got some good stretches of fishing-trance in.
Talked to a surfing/flyfishing guy in the parking lot, who looked like easy fodder for this activity. A bait guy leaving as I came, said he'd gotten 2, and by that I suspect he meant stripers.
I fished from around 9:30 - 11:30. Tide was out, water clear, nice foamy flats and small rips to fish around.
