Evening fish at Manresa, #9 XP and #10 intermediate outbound short line. Headed down and fished to the right of the parking log. Striper fly (deceiver) on point, with a grub and a zen worm on the droppers. First cast, a fish; a nice walleye. 2nd cast too, and the 3rd. The next two came unbuttoned, landed the 5th or so.. or was it the 6th? Anyway, it was like that. They tore the grub to shreds, and took the zen worm too. Sometimes I'd see the splash of the fish on the surface as they chased the flies, or right before the take. Cool.

A bit later, at a different spot, I get a nice fatty Barred Perch.

I catch more walleyes.

Getting dark; I go to the big hole just south of the parking lot, but nothing there. Then I go back up a little, and end up at the school of walleyes again. Eventually I remove the perch flies; it was getting a little monotonous.
